The Santa Fe Sport gives you the choice between two powerful and fuel-efficient engines. First is the 2.4L GDI engine with 190 horsepower and 181 lb-ft of torque, delivering 8.9L/100km^ combined fuel economy. Second, is the 2.0L Twin-Scroll Turbocharged GDI engine that offers great power without sacrificing fuel economy. It produces a powerful 264 horsepower while maintaining an impressively low 10.0L/100km^ combined fuel economy. Both are paired with a standard 6-speed automatic transmission with SHIFTRONIC® manual shift mode and feature Hyundai’s Active ECO system for smoother and smarter accelerations to help improve fuel efficiency.


2.0L Turbocharged GDI Engine

Blindspot Detection System

A new feature for the Santa Fe Sport helps reduce stress and improve safety when changing lanes with an available Blind Spot Detection System. Warning indicators on the instrument cluster and side mirrors alert the driver when a vehicle enters defined blind spot areas near the rear of the car that are detected by short-range radar sensors in the rear bumper.
